Would you like to give to Saguaro Hills?

We guarantee that everything that you give will go to support a student.  And, with the rising costs of everything, anything helps!  Please see ways you can give below:

Tax Credit Donations

Did you know in the State of Arizona, if you have any state tax liability (withheld or paid at tax time), you can receive a 100%, Dollar-for-Dollar tax CREDIT for contributions to Saguaro Hills or a student? For the cost of a few extra minutes, you can essentially tell Arizona to use your state tax dollars to fund a child's tuition! Click here for instructions. Here are two of the many State Tax Organizations (STOs) that we work with:

1. Institute for Better Education (IBE).  

  • IBE is a Tucson-based STO that funnels your funds from your State Taxes to a local private school, such as ours. For more information, visit www.ibescholarships.org.  Click "Donate Here."  Once you have filled out your information, you can now select the school by selecting "School Fund".  Scroll down until you select "Saguaro Hills SDA Christian School".
  • If you have a specific child in mind, you can even recommend them (check with their parents to ensure they are using STO fund for tuition).  Just don't forget to select "Saguaro Hills SDA Christian School" as well.

2. Arizona Adventist Scholarships, Inc.

  • Like IBE the Arizona Adventist Scholarship STO works the same.  They are a Phoenix based organization under the Arizona Conference of SDA.  For more information, visit www.azadventistscholarships.com.  Click "donate."  Follow the steps to "Donate Now."
  • Please don't forget to recommend the child you would like to support or select "Saguaro Hills Adventist Christian School" to support any eligible attending student.

Tax-Deductible Donations

If you would like to make a general donation to our school, we can provide you with a tax-deductible charitable donation receipt. If you would like a tax receipt, please ensure your name and current address are included with your donation. There are three easy ways to give:  

  1. Online through our constituent church, Midvale Park SDA.  Click here to go to their AdventistGiving site.  Once signed in, specify your donation next to "Saguaro Hills Worthy Student" or "Saguaro Hills School", then fund your donation using either a bank account or Visa/MC.
  2. Putting your donation in an offering envelope at any Tucson area SDA Church and write "Saguaro Hills Adventist Christian School" and the amount either where indicated or on the "other" line.
  3. Giving directly to the SHACS, either in person or via mail (address in the footer below).

Typically, both Midvale Park SDA and SHACS issue tax deductible receipts in January for the previous tax year. Please contact the treasurer if you require a receipt before then.

We cannot issue tax-deductible receipts for donations to a specific child as that is considered a gift to that child. However, we can issue tax-deductible receipts for donations to the worthy student fund that recommend recipient(s), and will do our best to honor those recommendation. 

Support Special Projects

We are currently making several updates to our facility & grounds including:

          -Upgrade technology and textbooks

          -Repaint exterior

          -Replace flooring

          -Improve playground

          -Landscaping

In addition to funds, donations of goods or professional services towards these (or other) projects are also eligible for tax-deductible receipts! Please coordinate with the treasurer on required substantiating documents.
