Gerber N. Hernandez, School Principal
Grades: 3rd - 8th
Hello, my name is Mr. Hernandez. I have recently moved from Santa Barbara, Honduras, where I served as a missionary. My family and I served an orphanage under REACH International where I was school principal for La Alborada Adventist Elementary from 2010-2013. I then served as principal/teacher with Maranatha Missionary Ministry from 2013-2016. I have been in the teaching field, both public and private since 2004. I earned a B.A degree in Human Development and an M.A in Education,Teaching from Azusa Pacific University in California. I also proudly served the U.S. Armed Forces "Army" from 1996-2004. I have been happily married for 21 years and the Lord has given me three wonderful children. My favorite book is the Holy Bible. Everyday I strive to read it, live it, and teach it by precept and by example. My motto is: "I regret that I have but one life to give in service to the Lord." I am truly looking forward to teaching, guiding, and mentoring the children and young people entrusted to us at Saguaro Hills SDA Christian School. It is both a great honor and a special privilege to serve the students, parents and the community. May God bless us all as we begin this school year!
